Director of the Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP)
The primary mission of MEP is to Recruit, Retain and Graduate women and minority students in Engineering. Under this mission MEP provides a solid academic and social support infrastructure to ensure the students' success until they graduate with the highest levels of academic excellence. MEP also helps students develop personally and professionally so they are better prepared when they enter the professional workforce. To maintain the focus of being degree specific and career oriented, there is a strong effort to develop a supportive community of students, staff, and faculty.

Undergraduate & graduate recruitment
Study groups/Tutoring
Peer-mentoring
Computer/phone facilities
Summer jobs/internships/co-ops
Financial aid advising
Funding for ESC and MEP clubs

Schedules appointments for Associate Dean Baygents.
Processes key receipts for student clubs who have offices in the Engineering Building.
Does Request for Services, and Requests to Dispose of Property. Also for student clubs who have offices in the Engineering Building.
Collects money for ESC t-shirts, Tau Beta Pi bents and stoles, Order of the Engineer rings, etc...
Schedules student club meetings for rooms in the Engineering Building, 2nd Floor (the conference room, MEP, the VDC, Rm. 210).
Helps coordinate the Outstanding Senior Luncheons held in the fall and spring semesters.
